XJ-740 features a digital servomotor which helps control the media for precise imaging. Significant refinements include enhanced grit accuracy, new media flanges, pinch rollers and grit rollers for flawless media feeding and tracking. Extended built-in media edge clamps also prevent media curling and ragged edges for a seamless printing process.

XJ-740’s ink system also features a motor-driven elevator that automatically adjusts to print head height. Wipers also clean 2 heads at a time and flushes the ink on each pass.

For an optimal printing process of highly saturated images at full speed even with use of the take-up rollers, an optional dryer/blower is also available.
