With photorealistic printing of up to 1440 x 1440 dpi, the XJ-740 features the precise control of droplet placement in both the print head travel and paper feed directions. Roland’s unique precise firing pattern is specially optimised for XJ-740’s Piezo print heads, thus achieving unparalleled image quality in every print mode.

XJ-740 also utilises a Variable Droplet Technology which uses micro-precise ink droplets of three different sizes depending on the type of output. This technology produces smooth, dot-free tones even at high speeds across a wide range of media.

Fine image quality is achieved together with vivid colours and high-contrast images with no traces of bending even at the highest print speeds.
