Doming is a three-dimensional polyurethane cap that is designed to add durability and to enhance appeal. The process in its simplest form begins as a two part catalytic set of resins that is dispensed onto the surface of a preprinted and formed graphic image. The liquid is processed to become a very durable plastic like lens on top of the surface to which is has been applied. The end result is an eye-catching, deep gloss, chemically inert addition to a wide variety of printed products. Resistance to light as well as cleaning agents and aggressive fluids is retained for many years. There is a wide range of resins available to vary thickness and flexibility of the lens. Additionally there are other technologies that we can combine on an optional basis to make solutions beyond the basic doming and are presented later.
